Cleavage Crag RAK Inland
Park the car next to the main road, left (going uphill), and walk on an easy road then path towards the evident canyon.
The cliffs are in a cool box canyon with a scenic view and a nice short hike. Mostly short routes, 20m and less. There are several trad routes and 4 sport routes.
Routes and climbing
Few sport and trad routes. Some first bolts are a bit high.
Mostly short routes, 20m and less, make this an option for climbers looking for compact sessions in a scenic canyon setting.
Beginners and top ropes
This area is best for beginners and those looking for short routes. The “Left Side” has 9 sets of top rope anchors bolted.
The left side has shade all day.
Parking and access
Park on the right left side of the road. The crag is visible on the left. The locals have cleared a private road that leads almost up to the crag. There is a small parking area at the end of the road which can accommodate a few vehicles.
Remember that this is a private road and parking area and to get permission to utilise it. If you park on the road it is a few hundred metre hike to the canyon. The area is fenced off but is accessible. The fence is to keep livestock in and the locals do not mind or bother us.
